1. Project Description
This project studies the present communication channel being used by employers in requesting Unirazak students qualified for employment. The proposed system is aimed at automating and creating a dedicated channel for the student recruitment process. This system is targeted at employers, recruitment agents and the members of staff and students of the faculty of Information technology, Unirazak to assist them in the recruitment process. Employers and recruitment agents can post vacancies and also advertise, lecturers can make recommendations while students can post their resume and apply for vacancies. The system also allows communication amongst employers, recruitment agents, lecturer and students.
2. Business Objectives and Success Criteria
There would be some cash income for the university through the advertisements by different companies. Besides that, it would increase UNIRAZAK’s affiliations all over Malaysia as companies would be able to deal direct with the faculty of IT. To add on, it would increase the student enrolment for IT courses as the employment rate of UNIRAZAK IT student would be high.

4. Vision
This system is targeted at employers, recruitment agents and the members of staff and students of the faculty of Information technology, UNIRAZAK to assist them in the recruitment process. The system is known as UNIRAZAK Online Student Recruitment System that is aimed at automating and creating a dedicated channel for the student recruitment process. Employers and recruitment agents can post vacancies and also advertise, lecturers can make recommendations while students can post their resume and apply for vacancies. The system also allows communication amongst employers, recruitment agents, lecturer and students. Unlike the existing system which is totally manual in nature, the employers only informs the university staff of their need of UNIRAZAK student for employment through traditional means like face to face, letters, phone calls, emails and so on.
5. Project Scope
Determining the context of the project means defining the specific boundaries, or extent of the project. For the purpose of this project, our task is to develop an Online Student Recruitment System for UNIRAZAK which is an operational system. The system is to facilitate the recruitment process of UNIRAZAK IT students. The end users of the system are the Malaysian employers, Malaysian recruitment agents, UNIRAZAK IT students and the UNIRAZAK faculty of IT, each performing a different duty towards achieving the universities goals and objectives.
